SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Suitable route at time of movement and permits. 
2. Good hard standing and accessibility for our vehicles. 
3. 2 hours allowed for loading and unloading after which Standing Time is chargeable at £98.00 per hour, extra charges will also accrue if an escort vehicle/s and or an attendant accompanies the load. 
4. Acting as agent only, costs of removal/replacement of street furniture/wires on/off site being passed to Customer Account plus 15% Handling Charges. 
5. Department of Transport approval where required, for a Special Order please allows a minimum of 8 weeks’ notice. 
6. Excluding all costs of Police Escorts/Private Escorts where required, plus 10% Handling Charge. 
7. HI-AB charge £98.00 to £135.00 per hour, 5 hours minimum (yard to yard). 
8. In case of ‘’lorry mounted crane’’ unloading, site conditions to be good hard-standing, no overhead restrictions etc. 
9. Site surveys to be carried out by Customer or Supplier before delivery, unless requested at a cost. 
10. We now have Goods in Transit Insurance to £350,000.00 (Pounds Sterling) any one load, as all goods are carried under RHA Conditions of Carriage 2009 or CMR, Increased value by specific arrangement. 
11. All damage must be notified within seven (7) days of delivery. 
12. Whilst every care will be taken with movements of loads, we cannot be held responsible for minor scratches caused by overhanging tree branches, etc. 
13. B J & C Carberry Haulage will not be held responsible for any late deliveries owing to circumstances arising out without control (i.e.) accidents, breakdowns, weather conditions or any equipment not ready for collection. 
14. Cancellation of job, we must be notified before 48hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) of job taking place, if not the customer will still be charged a minimum of 5 hours for hiab’s or 75% of the rate quoted for priced jobs. 
15. Payment strictly 30 days from date of invoice. 
16. If invoice is not paid within 30 days of invoice date, interest is automatically chargeable in line with the statutory rights to interest (SRI) @ 8% over the Bank of England base rate ruling. 
17. Invoice queries must be notified within fourteen (14) day from invoice date. 
18. Goods remain the property of B J & C Carberry Haulage until payment is received in full. 
19. Price held for 30 days and based on current Rates of Exchange. 
20. Normal weekday working. 
21. Subject to Sight of Detailed Transport Drawings. 
22. All international transits are undertaken CMR Conditions. 
23. All rates are issued subject to availability of suitable vessel and weather conditions at all time of shipment and do not include allowance for additional lashing, which may be necessary in the event of heavy weather conditions or if required by the ship’s staff. 
24. Costs of Bridges, Road Tolls and Tunnels will be at cost plus 10% where applicable. 
25. On confirmation of order, all necessary permits are put into force. If for any reason the job is cancelled all costs of permits will be passed to customer plus 10%. 
26. Subject to availability of suitable equipment at time of movement. 
27. Subject to Fuel Surcharge when applicable. 
28. Plus VAT.
